The Liberty Wells Community Council (LWCC) was established to provide an opportunity for local residents to improve the quality of life in our beautiful area of Salt Lake City, Utah.
The Council provides support on key issues affecting City planning agencies and works to advance communication and education so that area groups and individuals can become aware and self-sufficient in meeting their needs. The LWCC serves as a liaison between citizens and the City government to facilitate and encourage cooperative community action.
Residents looking for the traditional neighborhood experience need not look far. The Liberty Wells area of Salt Lake is known for a diverse selection of housing consisting of multi-family living, condos, townhouses and single-family homes — newly built and historical homes.
Homeowners are sure to find the home of their dreams as well as a vast array of services that lend to a high quality and enjoyable lifestyle.
In our monthly meetings, community struggles, problems and successes come alive as Council members engage City and other local leaders in discussions about their personal and community projects.
As more residents become aware of the Liberty Wells Community Council and take part in our activities, the more effectively we can provide a forum for the exchange of knowledge that strengthens and improves the intergovernmental concept of planning and development.
Membership is open to all who live, own property, or own businesses within the Liberty Wells Community Boundaries.
